putting people first
between 2025–26, i led art direction and design across all creative and design touchpoints — from print to digital and beyond.
my primary focus revolved around leading the design and development of a full rebrand of the company. from the logo to messaging to icons and colors, my small but nimble team and i created a system and ethos built upon a simple but integral principle: when you put people first, everybody wins.
this was encapsulated within a logo that fused a joyous figure with a “northstar” icon. the notion behind this concept was that people were at the center of everything sci does — they are the company’s northstar, whether internally or through the people they serve.
colors were chosen carefully to meet web accessibility standards and maintain enough contrast to be legible across all applications. typography was selected to be equally accessible and distinct; inclusive sans was utilized for its legibility and emphasis on accessibility for those with disabilities such as dyslexia or other visual impairments.
these were just some of the holistic brand decisions that i made with my team to ensure our new brand was friendly, warm, and accessible to all.
